BonaFide Agility 102 This class is a continuation of Agility 101. Students continue working on their performance of contact obstacles, weave poles, jumps and tunnels. Basic handling techniques are introduced, along with short sequences. Class length: 4 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog at least 1 year old A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older) *Team must have successfully completed Agility 101. In addition to the prerequisites for the previous classes, the dog must be able to sit/down/walk on lead/recall around equipment reliably, perform all three contacts with minimal handler assistance using target box, perform 10' send to table/tunnel and run/send/recall over 2 jumps; handler must understand how to use motivational games and independent skill work with dog while waiting for turns on contacts; dog must be comfortable with 12 2x2 weave poles completely open; dog must be at proper weight (out of shape or physically impaired dogs can't go on without vet permission); dog must perform reliable start line waits in front of all types of equipment. Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
