BonaFide Agility 201 This is the third class in BonaFide's agility series and is for teams who have basic mastery of all the agility equipment and are ready to start putting the pieces together into short sequences. The focus will be on handling skills and further refinement of contact equipment. This class is open by permission only. Class length: 6 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog at least 1 year old A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older) In addition to the prerequisites for the previous classes, the dog must be able to sit/down/walk on lead/recall around equipment; handler must have off leash control around equipment; dog must perform all 3 contacts reliably with minimal handler assistance using target box; dog must run/send/call over 3 jumps or jump/tunnel combos, etc.; dog must perform 12 2x2 weaves partially closed and be comfortable with all jumps (double, triple, broad, tire); handler must understand flatwork for crosses; team must perform 4 obstacle courses. Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older, parvo, canine distemper, canine hapatitis, and parainfluenza) Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
