Competition Obedience (Novice) Want to improve your dog's basic obedience performance? Interested in learning about competitive obedience? Join us for our Novice competition obedience class-- all breeds welcome! In this class we will focus on improving attention, refining heel position, teaching fronts and finishes, and more! Work towards earning your dog's AKC Beginner Novice (BN), AKC Companion Dog (CD) title and/or CDSP (CD-H) Companion Dog title! Class length: 6 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older, parvo, canine distemper, canine hepatitis, and parainfluenza) Dogs must have instructor permission or have passed the Canine Good Citizen test to be admitted to this class. Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
