BonaFide Clicker 101 Have you ever heard the terms operant conditioning, positive reinforcement and clicker training and wondered what they have to do with dog training? Come learn about the training techniques that center on positive reinforcement. Experience training from the animal's perspective through a fun training simulation game! Gain insight into why various training techniques work and how to use kinder, gentler techniques. During the last three weeks of the class, you will apply the lecture information you learned in the first class, and teach your dog some entertaining and useful behaviors. Trainers will help you work on loading the clicker and free-shaping behaviors to give you a hands-on experience guaranteed to be fun for you and your dog! Class length: 4 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog at least 6 months old A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older) The handler must have completed Intro to Clickerbefore taking this class. Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
