BonaFide Planet Dachshund Are you proudly owned by a Dachshund? Join us for a class that's all Doxie, all the time! This VERY breed-specific class allows dachshunds to learn and grow in and environment tailored just for them! Owners will gain valuable knowledge about Doxie history, breed temperament and common health issues. Basic manners (including sit, down recall, leash walking, etc.) will be introduced, improved and polished, and some of those pesky Dachshund "issues" such as excessive barking and an aloof-ness to strangers will be addressed. To add to this "Wiener Dog Centric" training experience, owners will also be given the tools to better read their dog's body language and get introduced to fun activities they can enjoy with their short and sassy sidekicks! PLEASE NOTE: The first week of class is discussion only . Please do NOT bring your dog to the first session - we will be covering general learning theory, facility rules, and other important information during this session. Proof of current vaccinations must be provided at the first session. Class length: 6 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog at least 6 months old A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older) This class is for Dachshunds only!! Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
