BonaFide Estate Planning for Pets

Did you know that while 84% of all American households own at least one pet, 74% of all pet owners are willing to go into debt to provide care for their pets and 31% take time off work to be with a sick pet, only 2% have made specific, legally enforceable provisions to care for their pets in the event their pets outlive them? Did you know that without proper legal provisions, if you die leaving behind a companion animal, that pet may be treated the same as your car and other personal property by the courts? If you own pets, you owe it to them to attend this session by attorney Dawn Antoniak-Mitchell, Esq., CPDT to learn more about estate planning for pets. No specific, individual legal advice will be provided during this session, but you will collect all the information you need to talk with your personal attorney and make proper plans for your beloved companion animals.
