BonaFide K9 Dressage and Freestyle Workshop

K9 Dressage is based on the beautiful sport of equine dressage. The goal of K9 dressage is to create balance, suppleness, strength, and obedience through a series of mentally and physically challenging heeling and freestyle movements. By learning to move with equal skill on both sides of the handler, your dog will stretch and build her muscles equally throughout her entire body. This is helpful not only to keep the performance dog in top shape, but to help keep the pet dog mobile and strong well into old age, too!

Freestyle incorporates many dressage movements into an activity set to music - you and your dog "dance" together, showing off many intricate, creative heeling moves. And you can even earn titles in both sports via video competitions - you don't even have to leave the comfort of BonaFide to compete with your dog!

In this workshop we will discuss dressage and freestyle, watch demos and start our dogs moving in a fun new way!
