BonaFide Kids-n-K9s FUNdamentals The basics are fun when kids and dogs come together! Kids ages 8-12 can work as a team with the family dog to practice good basic manners in this fun four-week class! Practice fundamental canine behaviors such as set, down, stay, and come in a fun context - and even learn a trick or two! Class length: 4 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog at least 6 months of age A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older, parvo, canine distemper, canine hepatitis, and parainfluenza) Handler (child) must be 8 - 12 years of age Handler (child) must be able to physically handle their dog. One child handler per dog. Same handler for duration of the class. Open-toed shows are NOT ALLOWED (no flip-flops or sandals). Sneakers are preferred. Parent or guardian must be present at all times.
