BonaFide Puppy Play-n-Train Puppies are all about play! Join us for this 4-week class that explores the world of dog-dog play and dog-human play. Learn how to read dogs' signals as they interact with each other and burn off some puppy steam! Owners will learn how to determine what is appropriate interaction, including when and how to intervene as dogs socialize with one another. We will train basic behaviors vital for dog-dog socialization include having a good recall (come) and training some good impulse control (appropriate greetings). Puppy parents will also learn how to play productively with their dogs-- curb those annoying behaviors (like nipping, being overly-excited) with developing good play techniques-- it will help with all aspects of training! Class length: 4 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites A dog up to 8 months old Instructor may ask to evaluate any dog before admittance into class Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older, parvo, canine distemper, canine hapatitis, and parainfluenza) Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
