BonaFide Who's Walking Whom?! Have Fido's leash manners gotten a little rusty? Come into BonaFide for a refresher course focusing entirely on leash work! We will work on issues such as pulling and jumping, as well as teaching your dog to focus on you instead of those pesky distractions! Learn to proactively handle problem situations along your walk, get tips on exercising your dog, and learn about the wide array of options you have available to you when stepping out with your canine companion! This class is designed as a leash manners refresher course for dogs that have a start on basic obedience skills. Dogs should be able to sit, down, come when called, and have a basic wait/stay. Class length: 4 weeks Class size limit: 6 Class duration: 45 minutes Prerequisites The dog and handler must have completed a breed-specific class, Focus & Self-Control, or have permission of the instructor A dog at least 6 months old A positive attitude A sense of humor Current vaccination records (including rabies for all dogs 28 weeks and older) Handler must be an adult (18 yrs or older) unless prior permission is given by the instructor or the class is designated as a kid's class.
