About the Course

In this class you will learn the cues needed to communicate with your dog, the difference between obstacle focus and handler focus. These are the 2 critical skills that will enable you to run agility courses as a team. This is a high energy class that will be fun, engaging and motivating for both dog and handler.

Prerequisites: Previous dog training class of any level, sit, down, targeting and a basic understanding of training theory.  This class is open to puppies over 4 months. You will use a lot of food treats in this class, regardless of toy drive.  Bring both toys and treats to class.

What to bring to class:

  • Your dog’s favorite treats
  • A harness or collar
  • A light weight, nylon leash. 6 – 10ft long.
  • A positive attitude and sense of humor!
